Coconut water is the “new” healthy way to hydrate.
Distinct from the white milk or cream made from coconut flesh, coconut water is the murky liquid within the husk, best from green or young varieties. Its flesh is soft and custardy, while the water quenches. Long the domain of ethnic and health stores, supermarkets now clamor for pre-packaged. And it’s healthy: One glass has more potassium than a banana; low in calories and no need for sweetening.
