We had breakfast with food doyenne Anne Willan in Los Angeles, and made the front page!  Or rather, the front page of her foodie blog:

Better yet, the personally cooked us a very special breakfast: Socca: We had an overnight LAX transfer so Anne invited us over for these chickpea flour pancakes. No syrup, just salt & olive oil drizzled at the table. A fortunate life.
